Hernia Support

The Fortuna Hernia Support provides relief from reducible inguinal hernia by gently providing support and compression to the weakened herniated area.

 The support incorporates two removable Velcro compression pads to treat either a left or right sided hernia both. The waist and leg bands are fully adjustable to provide the desired amount of pressure, comfort and fir. The waist band can be adjusted to fit waist sizes 28” to 40”. The support can be worn over or under the loose-fitting briefs.

 Application:

• Familiarise yourself with the images shown below.
• Hold the hernia support in front of you with the pads also facing you. The narrowest part of the pads should point downwards. (see Figure 1)
• Slip each leg through the leg bands and pull the support up to your waist. Adjust the waist and leg bands to fit you but don’t tighten at this stage. (see Figure 2&3)
• Re-position the compression pads to the herniated area if needed.
• Fully adjust the waist and leg bands to provide the desired level of compression, comfort and fit. (see Figure 3)
• To remove the support simply slip off as you would do with a pair of briefs.
