It also generates and retains warmth which increases blood circulation to the injured area thus promoting natural healing and comfort. In addition, the warming effects on muscles and joint increases flexibility to help prevent sporting injures.
The Thumb Splint has a reinforced aluminium plate which supports and protects the thumb by limiting movement in the joint. It can be used in treating broken or sprained thumbs. The support also has an adjustable velcro fastening for maximum comfort and a terry lining which helps reduce the amount of moisture build up within the splint. It is able to be worn on the right or left hand.
